General

  • s a shipper, you can use LKWnow to enter the vehicles that match your specific needs, initiate a corresponding search, select the vehicle most suitable, and contact the respective supplier to negotiate the conditions. If you conclude a contract, your load is collected for its journey and your supplier provides you with a link via which you can access all the pertinent tracking information.

  • If you as a carrier would like to offer your load capacities via LKWnow, then set up your vehicle fleet on our platform. Whenever one or more of your vehicles has available space, you can activate it accordingly on LKWnow. Shippers will then be able to contact you to negotiate the details and place the order. Once an order has been finalised, you can send the respective customer a link via which he/she can track the load.

  • As the driver of a vehicle registered with LKWnow, you are responsible for keeping the current loading status of your vehicle and its GPS position up to date using the LKWnow app. This enables customers and dispatchers alike to continually monitor the position and status of their truck.

Truck search

  • It's simple. You just use the truck search function to define which vehicle type you need, activate the area search and select a vehicle. To have all the requisite provider information displayed to you, just click on the vehicle tile.

You can only have provider information displayed to you if you have been verified by LKWnow.

  • To find a vehicle that suits your requirements, use the truck search’s filter option. This allows you to filter trucks according to specific features and equipment.

  • LKWnow only displays trucks that are available and bookable. The providers verified by us guarantee that the vehicles they have entered are empty and at our members’ disposal.

  • LKWnow attaches great importance to transparency. Under the menu item “Companies”, you can search for specific companies and then review the corresponding contact details, company documents and comprehensive company profiles provided for them.

Fleet management

  • To enter a new vehicle, simply click on “Create vehicle” in the “Fleet” section. You can then use the form displayed to enter the details pertaining to your vehicle. Please fill in the data sheet required to register your truck as comprehensively as possible so as to optimise your truck’s discoverability. Once you have filled in and saved the data correctly, your vehicle will appear in the fleet list.

Please be advised that creation does not automatically render your vehicle automatically discoverable; it only becomes discoverable when it has been activated by the dispatcher.
